Harry Potter....(tick)
(Disclaimer: spoiler in this post....don't read this if you're not finished with the book yet!)
After about 8 years since I bought my first copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, 10 hours since I picked up the 7th book, I am done. My flatmates and the boyfriend have been completely ignored once I got home. Satisfied, nauseated (from too much reading), I am glad how the story is somewhat as I predicted and yet not.
Why did the end seem a tad too happy for me? Why did Harry live happily ever after? Maybe, afterall, it is a children's book, where things are normally given its bright sunny side (although JK Rowling managed to put in the B!t#h word inside).

The queue outside borders singapore at 7:15 AM today...I had to wait an hour before getting my copy and afterwards had to endure a driving test before I can go home and enjoy my book.
Now I can officially drive a car in Singapore....such a day of accomplishment! All I need to do was ensure my answers are the most conservative of the choices, even though I keep telling myself how stupid they are :-)
Next goal: motorcycle license...

Congratualtions with your driver license!
But more importantly, also congrats with finishing Harry Potter´s last book!! I'm looking forward to spending some time in absolute solitude with that book.
